Privacy Policy

This English text is provided for convenience. The Japanese version is the governing text; in case of any discrepancy, the Japanese version prevails.
The OKUGAI Salon operator (legal name to be published at official launch) handles users' personal information in the online community "OKUGAI Salon" and related services ("the Service") under the following policy.
1. Information we collect
- Name, email address and other information entered at registration
- Identifiers and display names associated with following the official LINE account
- Payment information (credit card details are handled by the payment processor Stripe; the operator does not hold card numbers)
- Discord account ID and username (for managing membership)
- Usage history, access logs, cookies and similar technical information (including analytics tools)
- Contents of inquiries
2. Purposes of use
- Providing the Service; managing membership and billing
- Sending notices, content updates and recruitment information (LINE, email, etc.)
- Responding to inquiries
- Preventing fraudulent use; responding to violations of the Terms
- Analysis and statistics for service improvement (in forms that do not identify individuals)
- Responses required by law
3. Third parties and external services
- Except as required by law, the operator does not provide personal information to third parties without consent.
- The Service uses the following external services, whose handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies: Stripe (payments) / Discord (community) / LINE (contact) / access analytics such as Google Analytics (when introduced) / Google Fonts (font delivery).
- Some pages of the Service contain affiliate program links; linked businesses and networks may use cookies and similar technologies.
4. Outsourcing
The operator may outsource handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use, and will appropriately supervise contractors.
5. Cookies and analytics
- The Service may use cookies and similar technologies to improve convenience and analyze usage.
- Where analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) are used, traffic data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals. Cookies can be disabled in browser settings, though some features may become unavailable.
6. Security
The operator takes necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss or damage of personal information.
7. Disclosure, correction and suspension of use
Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion or suspension of use of their own personal information held by the operator. After identity verification, requests are handled within a reasonable period.
8. Retention
Personal information is retained for the period necessary to achieve the purposes of use or as required by law, and is disposed of appropriately when no longer needed.
9. Minors
The Service is not intended for use by minors. If it is found that a minor's personal information has been collected, it will be deleted promptly.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised in response to legal amendments or changes to the Service. Material changes will be announced within the Service.
